Book Review – Love Money, Money Loves You

If your intuition or gut says “Hmmm I think this Money book is something I need to read”- DO IT!

Review by Jane Ewins:

I recommend you to read Love Money, Money Loves You.

It is a rich, simple and yet complex book. I found it challenging (in a good way), deeply exciting and a bit daunting.

Please don’t be put off by the word daunting. For me it is a good thing as it gave (and continues to give) me the opportunity to look at some of my not-fully-examined blind spots and limiting thought patterns.

The book is rich because it is so generous in its offering of information and inspiration.

It is simple because the writing is easy and conversational.

It is complex because, like the proverbial iceberg, there’s a lot going on underneath the surface which continues to unfold in my understanding over time .

I admit I was a bit surprised that a woman who “looks” and “sounds” as Sarah does  (completely normal!) has written a book which is based on Money directly talking to her. ( Side-note: this is a perfect example of the limiting conditioning and closed-mindedness Money wishes us to let go of.)

Luckily, these days I choose to listen to my intuition rather than the conditioned/judgemental ego-self – and kept reading the book – hungrily and with delight. I day-dreamed: “ Yes, this is a much easier and “better” (what-ever-that-means) way to live!”

I then re-read the book – taking my time to more deeply digest the information and to start practicing the exercises and recommendations. It’s a joyous and challenging work in progress.

Challenges are only problematic if we have that mindset. As many other current great Spiritual teachers such as Eckhart Tolle and Michael A. Singer say – Challenges ARE the vehicle for growth and awareness.

So if your intuition or gut says “Hmmm I think this Money book is something I need to read”- DO IT!
